He was born on the 23rd of September 1955, he obtained his B.Sc in Geology from Cairo University in 1976, from 1978 he has worked as a petroleum geologist, Pressure evaluation geologist & geochemist with exploration logging international Inc. until the Robertson Group acquired the Exlog geochemistry laboratories in Feb 1989, then contributed in the establishment of an independent company that focuses its activities on organic geochemistry (StartoChem).
